Sephora & E.L.F Haul

Hey gals! So I got paid the other week so I bought a bunch of new makeup from ELF. I ended up getting 20$ worth of products while they were doing a special so I got 20% off each product! They are still doing a special for those who missed the deal it's 50% off ELFs birthday favorites. Anyway I got 2 lipsticks, 2 powder foundations, 2 brushes, an eye palette, a brow mascara and a setting spray! Pretty good for 20 bucks don't you think?
Here is me UNBOXING everything immediately on delivery and REVIEW!

E.L.F. Studio Pressed Powder
I really liked this! It works well and keeps my face matte. The first one is Coco and it's the darkest powder that they have. It matches my skin really well which is great because I was afraid it wouldn't. The lighter powder is Almond and it looks a lot like ben-nye banana powder on me xD It's basically my highlighting powder.

E.L.F Studio Makeup Mist & Set
This smells pretty good not gonna lie, it's fresh and has a little aloe in it. It's supposed to seal in your makeup and keep it from moving it around. Personally I have a bad habit of touching my face a lot especially if I'm bored. It helped my makeup stay on longer even with me rubbing my face all day long. It also makes my powder look more natural because if I put too much I look like someone slapped me with baby powder. I spray my face 2-3 times and fan it in a little and it's makes everything flawless.

E.L.F Eyeshadow "C" and Angled Contouring Brush
I have no clue what to say about these. They're soft? yeah. I use the shadow brush for under my eyes by my water line. I could just use a small brush but this works really well. the contouring brush got me looking GUDDD. Both are pretty precise and good for getting small/detailed areas.

I'm gonna be totally honest, I only bought it for that purple shade and because I wanted the deal. The colors are not as pigmented as I had hoped or anticipated. It can be layered up to be really nice but in general, not so much. The primer at comes with it was just a nasty consistency imo so I gave it to a friend. the pencil is also not my favorite but it's a back up for when everything else fails.
Ok, now this right here, is the bomb. because my brows aren't bleached it doesn't look as good as it could but the actually product works well. Earlier this summer i had shaved off the ends of my eyebrows and they seemed to not wanna go back. THE TREAT FIXED THAT QUICK! In maybe a week, week and a half  my eyebrows were back. it was crazy! The color is pretty well pigmented as well, I got ash and it definitely shows up. I'm so glad I got it but next time I will try a color closer to my actual eyebrow color.

I stated in the unboxing video that i actually hated the shades I picked out. These were the deepest colors they had and when I got them I thought it would be fine but no. Neither of these colors look even remotely like this and looked horrible on my complexion. I believe I tried it with lip liners in darker colors but it still wasn't really working for me. I'm just not a big fan of their lip products...

Mini Sephora Gets
I forget what happened but I think Samantha and I were hanging out and we ended up in sephora and of course I had to buy something.

I needed new concealer so I got this one by Sephora and it's really good! It matches my skin exactly so I can use it on dark marks and pimples but I should have gotten a lighter color for my highlighting so i might need another :D

These are also sephora products, and I'm in LOVE with the intensity of the color in these. the lip color is like a creamy lipstick and it's about the same intensity as Obsessive Compulsion Lip Tar. it's so good and it lasts a really long time even when I thin it out with lip gloss. The pencil it very good as well, I use it with a lip gloss and I'm set. I often don't even use a lipstick over it.

Overall I love what I got and I'm happy.

Bad Gyal: All Black Summer Tutorial

Hey gals! I have another b-gal styled makeup and outfit too! I was inspired not only by a Michelle Phan video I had seen but also by some of Rhianna's looks lately. Lots of dark lips and hip hop style clothing is coming back so I thought summer is the perfect time to try it out!
I hope you guys enjoy my makeup and styling of this trend :D
(To make it more gyaru, I'd say bigger lashes for sure!)

Thanks for watching!

Third Annual Kodona & Ouji Picnic OOTD

Earlier this month,  I went to another Lolita meet up at the park. It was super nice and by the Science Museum! It was sort of a pot luck so we all brought in something for the event. I'm lame and brought in apples but everyone brought in cute stuff like cake, lemon bars, cupcakes with lemon frosting, and lemonade! lol yeah we had a lot of lemon flavored stuff xD
It was really nice because every time I go to a Lolita meetup I see COMPLETELY different people. It's fun though making more friends in Boston who are interested in the same fashions and culture as me. I don't know man, having a community that is close by and there for you is always a nice thing. Anyway we hung out for a bit talking about the latest collections from BBTSSB and AP as well as a mirage of other random topics.

We take hella cute group photos kay? >u<

...and then there's me with my fishie xD  My entire outfit run-down in detail is here ^^

So my ENTIRE outfit was thrifted from a goodwill close by. The jacket has a baroque style to it that I see is coming back into style which I thought looked extravagant! The blouse is a simple ruffly top around the boobage (I wish I had binded my chest for this but hey, it still looked alright and I didn't die of heat stroke). The pants were long men's pants but I cut them at the knee since a lot of bloomers and pantaloons end around that length. I tried to gather the hem so that it puffed out but there wasn't much extra room of it around my leg and I didn't want to completely destroy the pants. I bought special trim from the fabric store so the trim would go this the jacket and make it all come together. The shoes are also thrifted but I usually only were them if I have a presentation or an interview and the hat too! The socks are from eBay, glasses Forever21... i think, and the chain is also from Forever21 I believe but i'm not totally sure because it's actually a hair chain! lol
I hope you enjoyed my OOTD! Have a beautiful day!

Fixed and Ready to go!

Hey it's been a while! I was finally able to get the new charger for my computer <3 Well I'm back and with brand new hair! About a month ago I had to dye my hair back brown for work since it's a job where I have to work with people. BUTTT  I hate having natural colored hair now. It's not that it looks "bad" I just hate looking normal now. So I was actually supposed to dye it blue, purple, or a mix of the two but I came out with this wonderful color that's kind of pastel ash blonde with a little bit of leftover color in it and i love it. (even better my mom and boss like it too!)
I also made a video showing some of the process of how I got it this way!

Have a beautiful day!

3 Looks: One Weekend

Long time no see! I haven't been so active cause I lost my camera charger AND my computer is dead as a door nail.  BUTTTTT thanks to my beautiful mother that is just as addicted to technology as I am, let me borrow her blackberry playbook!

ANYWAY, I've been all about B-gyaru lately so I have a feeling I'm going to be doing a lot more looks like this over the next few weeks. I love this looks cause I used my new Adidas shorts and "Erica" SnapBack both of which I thrifted.

Next I did a sort of boho summertime look with this skirt I bought in New York. I swear I've had this skirt since I was maybe 10 or something? And I have never worn it out of my house. FINALLYY I found a good way to wear it :)

The other day I did this AV gyaru look for Pepa's #idressformyself / #boobiesforbigots campaign against slut shaming, which I am all for. There's no reason to assume and expect a woman is dressing to impress or please anyone but herself. Wear what you want whenever you want.

This picture gives me so much joy

I did another #boobiesforbigots sort of look. IM READY FOR SUMMER OK?! All I wanna do is wear crazy sexy bikinis and go to the beach or dancing or something! Lol plus I love vivid lipstick like this but I've never worn it out

What is the boldest thing you've worn?

And we kept seeing really cute dogs, we even saw a Shibe! so cute and so fluffyyyy haha but yeah it was nice there were about 10? food trucks out there for the event! The food was good and luckily we got in line soon enough to get the last of the food

We got this scallion pancake sandwich with 2 poached eggs, sharp cheddar cheese and homemade pesto! it was really good considering I don't like eggs too much ^u^
Anyway here was my outfit and my makeup! I went totally gothic and loved it lol selfie game was too strong <3
