Unboxing and styling | Heir of Glee Tees

I'm so excited and happy about this purchase! So if you of Heir of Glee, a NYC based artist and gyaru, she has been selling her designs on tee shirts and stuff and I needed getting one of her designs! I should have gotten one of the chokers she used to make to go with the tee but that's okay. Anyway onto the box!

So here is the packaging. It's so nice and neat and love that it's not in a big ass box. It comes with her business card, a cute hand written note one her own stationary and the shirt!

The fabric feels like a combination of neoprene aka scuba material and a silky cotton which is AMAZING 💖 The design is really cool and didn't fade at all on the first wash! Super high quality comfy tee.

Fun fact: I did 2 other outfits and took all the pictures and made this post and then my phone deleted everything on itself by accident during an IPhone restore 😓

Sewing, future projects

Hey guys! I'v been really into my designing and sewing projects lately since school has ended. I made this really cute Crop top from The Felted Fox that I've had saved in my bookmarked for like a year! I made 2 of these but I like the rainbow one a lot better than the pale pink and white striped one.

 I wore it out to school a month or so ago and got a lot of compliments on it and I ended up wearing to Boston's Pride Parade where I found JuJuBee walking around downtown <3 total sweetie

I started making more sketches for what I could do with the leftover fabric since I still had another yard or so left over. I ended up with 2 really cute looks but only enough fabric for 2 more pieces. I went with the shorts and I'm thinking about making the triangle top or maybe even a halter top instead. This was my first time making a garment with a hidden zipper like this so I got to learn a little bit and it came out pretty good! I just have to practice about making sure my fabrics have a bit more stretch since it can be hard to get in and out of sometimes even though it fits perfect.

After my interview the other day I went to my favorite fabric store because I wanted some new stuff to play with so I got some really cute blue cotton heart fabric and some light blue chiffon. I'm not totally sure what this will turn into yet but I got a small zipper and some matching thread for when I decide.  I drew another 2 designs based on other clothing I've seen and it's very feminine, cute and little flirty.I will most likely make something very "Sweet Gyaru" himekaji type something like this since I'm not super into pink.

I finished making the skirt yesterday but I might make another in a different patter and with a slightly different order of operations since I had a hard time putting it together. I finally learned how to do elastic better so next is to figure out how to use elastic thread and do some shirring!

Birthday + shopping

Hey gals! So last week was my birthday and I've been pretty lax about my makeup since eyes have been hurting but I have been working on hair and outfits. We went out to Dave & Busters for my birthday (I didn't take many picture but I did manage to get my outfit)

Not super flamboyant but it matches my hair 😊

SHOPPING!

As my present, my boyfriend decided to take me shopping this week so I managed to grab a few things from H&M and Payless. I got some super cute mom jeans that I might DIY. I'm hoping I can co-ordinate it in a himekaji sort of style if not then it's still good pieces to have so my wardrobe won't be so dark. Luckily, my outfit today was a mix of the two xD

And this was me just playing in the dressing room making outfits!

February: Recent outfits

But these were some of my favorite outfits this past month

I was trying out some prom dresses with some friends. I don't like them for prom but I did think they were cute!

Cute bento box🎒🍱

Hey gals! Since I have been sick inside a lot because of snow and such I have been getting into cooking, mainly sweets and things. I finally decided to put my bento box to good use and make a cute little lunch for myself. 

This is the cute bag it comes in 💖

This is the container. It has 2 compartments for food and a little space at the top for your chopsticks and maybe sauces. 

This was the original lunch I tried to make. The little bear was supposed to be rilakkuma but I realized I didn't have white cheese or nori to make his face. 

Eventually I just threw it away and put something else in it instead. Everything in the box: grilled cheese and bacon, a coffee cake, grapes, 3 chips ahoy cookies, 2 strawberries and 2 mints

I also made jam a few days ago as well!

Recent Looks + College stuff TT.TT

I haven't been doing much lately gyaru wise but I did have some cute outfits and stuff

 

Besides gyaru, I have been really up and down emotionally and stuff because COLLEGE. It's messing me up hardcore. I still want to go to art school because that's been my think since I was little and I almost feel obligated by moral law to fulfill my childhood dreams of doing professional works of art. I am just really worried about my portfolio because I'm actually not sure if I have enough pieces to even QUALIFY. It's a bigger stress than I ever imagined it to be. A lot of my time now is spent with my boyfriend because he tries to make me feel better about it since he doesn't go to college right now but might enroll by next year. I'm just really worried and on edge lately cause i want to be there for my blog and Youtube, but I can't do that if I'm not in the right head space. 

How do you deal with stress in your life? And if you go to college, is it good? Would you recommend friends there?
